A year-long journey to see as many bird species as possible in the U.S.

We are Heather Levy and Peter Kleinhenz, a pair of birders based out of the Southeast. Our rules are a tad different than a typical big years'; As a long distance couple (Heather is in Athens, GA and Peter is in Tallahassee, FL), we have to see the bird together, making the year that much more challenging and rewarding.
